Well....

I've already missed a day now. Great. Yesterday was a bad day. B... A... D... You know that song by the band Fuel, Bad Day? Well that was yesterday and I have a VERY strong feeling that today will end up being the same. I'll try to post again today to make up for not posting yesterday, but I make no guarantees.

Garlic Knots

Oh how yummy these were. I did do it! I finally made some sort of homemade bread. It was quite fun actually. Although, I think I'll wait until I'm not in pain all over to make it. I had to knead the dough by hand and it just about killed me.

These are yummy, they didn't rise as much the second time, so they weren't as puffy as they show on the picture. But, they still tasted great! Maybe next time I'll knead the dough better and that will help.

I tried something new, and completely enjoyed it. Except for the pain part. :)

Okay so I haven't actually had one of these but just looking at the picture is making me salivate terribly... I'll need a bounty roll of paper towels to clean up the drool off my computer and chair...

I've never made rolls or bread from scratch it is something that I would love to learn to do, and I think that this weekend I may take it upon myself to learn how to with this recipe. Oh I can't wait. I'll have to post how I did, and if they are as yummy as they look. :)

HEARTBURN...

What an interesting word... yet painful to experience. Your heart isn't literally on fire or even burning... yet it can feel like it. I know what heartburn is... I know it is my stomach and the acids in it not agreeing with what I ate, or just in general anything. It can be totally empty or only have water in it and I will STILL have heartburn.

I only get heartburn when I am pregnant, and it is horrible, and VERY painful... I end up waking up multiple times throughout the night with the burning and then the nausea will hit too. I end up spending the rest of the night sleeping in a sitting position, which helps a little but not by much.

I HATE HEARTBURN!!! :P

Welcome...

I decided to start my own personal blog where I can come in daily and post a picture or something that is random... a quote, or something weird/random that happened that day. My goal is to try and do this EVERY DAY. I hope I can do this.
I decided to start this after seeing Julie&Julia. I'm not going as drastic as cooking a bunch of recipe's in one year, but I really liked the idea of putting my own ideas and pictures out there and having that goal of doing it daily. So here we go. I'll start off today and I hope and pray that I continue to keep this goal of doing it daily. :)
