What an interesting word... yet painful to experience. Your heart isn't literally on fire or even burning... yet it can feel like it. I know what heartburn is... I know it is my stomach and the acids in it not agreeing with what I ate, or just in general anything. It can be totally empty or only have water in it and I will STILL have heartburn. I only get heartburn when I am pregnant, and it is horrible, and VERY painful... I end up waking up multiple times throughout the night with the burning and then the nausea will hit too. I end up spending the rest of the night sleeping in a sitting position, which helps a little but not by much.
I HATE HEARTBURN!!! :P
